PROBLEM

In 2022, AAHIVM aimed to launch a centralized online hub, the Long-Acting Agents Resource Center (LAARC), to educate clinicians and patients about long-acting antiretroviral (LAA) therapies. The challenge was to provide a clear, clinical workflow tool that would simplify complex treatment protocols, connect users to resources, and facilitate adoption of LAA treatments.

SOLUTION

MarkedBA designed and delivered a four-page flowsheet charting the step-by-step journey from patient screening through medication administration, crafted collaboratively with the Director of Community and Provider Engagement. This flowsheet was featured in the “Billing, Coding & Administrative” section of the new LAARC website as a workflow resource. The continued active presence of the flowsheet since 2022, and its refresh in 2023, underscores its value and institutional adoption as of 2025.
